According to FiveThiryEight, they have been within around 2% of the popular vote in recent elections. Pay attention, but be cautious
The lastest RCP average has Biden up by 6.3%. According to the average, around 9.5% of those polled didn't express a preference. Some won't vote, Some will vote for someone else. Some haven't decided yet. I don't think we know how many are in each group. There are a couple of big factors, however: 1) How does the pandemic go? 2) Does the economy recover?

All I can tell you is that I vividly remember being on a beach with someone in 2004 who was thrilled to be reading a magazine with an article that said John Kerry 'already' had all the states he needed to win.
An old political joke: I have good news and bad news. The good news is that if the election were held today, you would win. The bad news is that today is not election day.
