Thanks man.
I think that initial resistance can be broken. Harris is the most progressive adjacent VP candidate they were going to get form Biden. We need to take our wins and keep pushing for the larger goal.

I agree, Susan Rice would be an excellent choice for Secretary of State, and she's probably a lock for it in a Biden Administration. Wendy Sherman would be another good choice, but let's not count our chickens...

Good choice. Best choice of the available options. I think a strong factor should have been that Biden was doing very well with suburban women. Oddly, the "Karen vote" may be what dooms Trump. The Harris choice isn't likely to rock that boat, even though many Dems would have preferred someone like Warren or Bass or Abrams. I also suspect that the Dems that most dislike this choice tend to be concentrated in places like the Bay Area, LA, Chicago, Boston, NYC, DC, and Baltimore - places that don't move the E.V. needle.
