I would guess the most excited are people addicted to sports betting, even if they have saved a ton of money.
I have watched the two Lakers games. I never watch the NBA. I am not sure my life is better.
It is not clear how long MLB will be around.

One of the few benefits of a crisis is that it can make you appreciate things that you once took for granted. I enjoyed watching the first Dodgers game against the Giants. I think two of the next three were also televised but didn't fit into my weekend schedule. Since then, all of the games have been on the "no one can watch" network, so I haven't seen them, except I saw the extra innings game against Houston, because the automatically programmed blackout doesn't cover extra-innings. Similarly, I caught the end of the Lakers game against the Clippers (I couldn't watch the whole game) but none since due to blackouts. I would have watched the FA Cup final from England, but I'm not going to sign up for ESPN+. I'm not watching hockey, even if it's the only sport being broadcast. I would watch just about an Bruins team but I really hope they don't play this year. As Dal would say, there's plenty of good music to listen to.

Good post, 73... Marooned in Michigan I got one Dodger game (won Thursday) and today I am watching Nascar (me a car guy, right?) and watching the Dodger Play-by-play display screen on ESPN. It goes pitch-by-pitch.
Th NBA is so star-hyped and showboated but I do follow the Bruins in the Association. I knew several UCLA linemen in the Prothro era. John Richardson, an intimidating DL, and he said your spit, blood and sweat were exchanged on every play. That makes me dubious about FB/NFL safety now.
But 73, you are SO RIGHT. "Anything is something!"
