What evidence do you have that Barr ever had a soul?

What evidence do you have that Barr ever had a soul? Before he took this job, he had a good reputation, or so I read.

I heard a news report that referenced people who knew him at college. The story goes, he was always a scary fascist. It's rumor, true. But the most likely explanation to his behavior.

From Vox:
"If you don’t know much about Barr’s history, it’s hard to make sense of his behavior. Having already served as AG under George H.W. Bush’s administration, Barr had a solid reputation as a serious guy. When he reemerged in 2018 as Trump’s pick for attorney general, he was widely seen as a creature of the Republican establishment, and his selection was “greeted with a measure of relief” within the DOJ, according to the New York Times.

When he was AG under Bush 41, he wasn't like this. During his first confirmation, Barr said, apparently with a straight face, that Roe v. Wade was " the law of the land" and claimed he did not have " fixed or settled views" on abortion; but he also said that "law of the land" that he had "no fixed or settled views" about was wrongly decided, because the Constitution was not originally intended to create a right to abortion, and that abortion should be a " legitimate issue for state legislators". As AG under Bush 41, Barr authored "The Case for More Incarceration", in which he deceptively manipulated the data to show incarceration reduced crime, in order to call for an increase in the incarceration rate, building more prisons, and abolishing parole. This fundamentally flawed and disingenuous report heavily influenced the Violent Crime bill of 1994. Barr also successfully delayed the investigation into Iraqgate and counselled Bush to pardon Caspar Weinberger, for his involvement in Iran-Contra, before he could stand trial, where evidence would have contradicted Bush's assertions that he had only fragmentary knowledge of the arms deal with Iran. He has always been like this. No one just really seemed to care before.

He has always been like this. No one just really seemed to care before. Or maybe he was but it was kept in check because the norms were different then.
It's all a guess. What we know for fact is what he is now, and that there are many many more people like that waiting around the corner.

When he was AG under Bush 41, he wasn't like this. And Gen Flynn wasn't like Gen Flynn under Obama (I hope). Bush was not acting as crazy as Trump, so Barr didn't either. Look at Pompeo, He work for Obama too. He is as much a POS as Barr imho

Pompeo is a pompous, lying, corrupt con who like Flynn will sell out the country and the people.
