From today's NY Times:
"With camouflage-clad agents already sweeping through the streets of Portland, more units were poised to head to Chicago, and Mr. Trump suggested that he would follow suit in New York, Philadelphia, Detroit and other urban centers. Governors and other officials compared his actions to authoritarianism and vowed to pursue legislation or lawsuits to stop him."
Trump is ramping up a fear campaign to: a) distract from his messed-up handling of the Covid-19 pandemic, and; b) scare people into voting for him.
He has no record to run on so this is his go to plan. I hope it blows up in his face!

My opinion; 3 strategies the new campaign manager pushed and got. Play the China card, start the Covid briefings again and show force in the cities. Again just my thoughts.
