And Trump does nothing. He will defend statues of traitors, but not young Americans.

can you imagine how many deplorable heads would explode had the same thing happened under Obama? tRump's constant idiocy and craven cowardice have beaten down the normal people in this country. tRump fatigue syndrome. people are tired of being outraged, no matter what happens. NOVEMBER CAN'T GET HERE SOON ENOUGH.

If this is true then trump is done. But it feels like a fake news plant to change the narrative. If it is true, the confirming evidence will leak soon enough. If it's fake, you know that evidence will be out before the end of the week.

If it's fake, you know that evidence will be out before the end of the week. I read today meetings were held and a menu of response proposed. It's verified. I go with my gut on this one- Real or an example of fake news Trump is always claiming. Hmmmmmm

So this looks like an interagency disagreement about the validity of the intelligence and it was probably leaked to try to force some action on it. All evidence points to trump having never been briefed because the intelligence hadn't been deemed actionable.
Might as well paint a new layer of teflon on trumpy.

CNN says it was "in the daily briefing book as 'unverified' finding," but said that Trump is known for seldom even reading "the book." If it was in the book, that justifies that the information was presented to him. I think it is on him that he (as CNN is implying) had a standing "please don't give me stuff about naughty Putin, I don't wanna hear it."
But the strongest two things we have is that the economy will be (unfortunately for the country but bad for Rump) unlikely to do that "V" convincingly by the time of the election, and possibly, alas, a lot past it. (Second thing is that Trump can NOT change from the dundering malapropist shallow fool he has always been, and this will further doom his chances.)
Of course there's the virus and also Russia, and "White Power Great!" and "I'll cancel Dacca yet!" plus now "opening up too early," added to all those killer sound bites from his own mouth ever since March! "It's one person and will fade away in two weeks!!"

Republicans seem to be sticking with Trump, in spite of this. Don't expect to see a mutiny on the bounties.

If Trump won't take action we really need to see his tax returns. What is his business relation to Russia and Putin?
On a ;lighter note, will the next White House defense be that Trump heard the Russians were offering a county, and thought they were offering paper towels?

Republicans seem to be sticking with Trump, in spite of this. Don't expect to see a mutiny on the bounties. That's the brilliance of constantly lying. The Republican establishment spent 3 1/2 years defending his lies and pretending like he wasn't lying. Their dignity and credibility are already shot, they can't go back any more. That's why the whole crowd size at the inauguration thing was really important.
