We live behind a strip mall (it's not as bad as it sounds, I used to jump my back fence to go to the bar).
There is a pizza place behind us. It's owned by two real nice guys. We like having a pizza place/sports bar that is a short walk from our house. We ordered take out from them during the lockdown. We even brought our beach chairs one night and ordered cocktails, which they served out the back door to people SD'ing in the parking lot.
I went down there for takeout the other night (we're still a long way from eating at a restaurant). I walked in and it was damn crowded. No one was wearing a mask but the bartender. The cashier had a mask on around her neck. I told her what order I was picking up and went back outside. She came and got me when it was ready - I had to go in, to pay, but I did it as fast as I could and got out of there. I need to correct myself, while I was in there, there were 2 people wearing a mask.
You know where this is going ……. they posted on FB tonight that one of their employees tested positive, and they are closed.
It's like …… come ON, dudes! Just require that everyone wear masks and there's a damn good chance this doesn't happen. Now, you're closed. You're not selling pizza's to go. You're not serving cocktails out the back door. You.are.closed.
The anti-mask thing is stupid beyond my ability to comprehend.

Our restaurants have only been dine-in for a week. The tables and booths are vacant for two sites before you get to the next party. You have to wear your mask until you sit at your booth (and put it on like if you go restroom, etc. And the help ALL wear theirs the entire shift. The menus are paper and the condiments and salt and pepper are throw away like McDonalds always has had. It is fairly safe -- but of course our Guv Gretchen is a target since she's "soo Democratic." Lol/ Whatta year.

My client's office has reopened. Every other cubicle must be empty so people alternate from working from home and coming in. All aisles are one way only. When outside your workspace, you must wear a mask. So when you go to the bathroom or to the lunchroom, the mask must be on. It takes all the fun out.
I don't see myself dining in at restaurants anytime soon. I just don't see how that works unless people share a table only with people they sleep with. But then, I suppose the goal is only to slow down the spread. I have a lunch date soon. We will get takeout and eat at a park nearby.

Sounds like your client is doing it right - well, as well as it can be done.

So bummed, my pizza place is closing :-(
They said they couldn't negotiate a deal w/ LL and the Corona "didn't help."
It was awesome to have a pizza place and a bar to walk to. And, the kids are getting old enough that wife and I could start going down there to watch games. SUCKS.
