I just saw live on CBS the acting Homeland Security stand-in blame the current rise in Covid-19 cases on Mexican relatives visiting back and forth across the border. It brings to mind the stream of bald-faced lying coming out of the Trump Administration. I wanted the interviewer to ask, "How does it feel to be another the President's blatant cadre of back-up liars?"
In view of the laughable and desperate take-down (too late for TV catching the OKC "Overflow" stage at Trump's rally) of the ghost city image outside the stadium 45 minutes before Chump's arrival. His staff wanted to erase images of no overflow -- let alone the remarkably empty seats inside. Someone created this "sharpie-reprise" take on a Trump rally I've stolen and posted on my Flickr site: www.flickr.com/photos/13411027@N00/50028287706/in/album-72157689317108076/

Wolf's statement sounds bogus. However, I did see a legitimate news report a couple of weeks ago noting that some American citizens living in Mexico were crossing the border to get treatment for COVID-19. It overwhelmed the medical facilities in small border towns such as El Centro, CA, and Yuma, AZ. Overflow patients were being transported to hospitals in larger inland cities.
