Sunlight destroys virus quicklyI do wish the authors had used more discretion in the title of the article below. Some people today won't read more than 2 or 3 lines of anything and want their whole world info presented in sound bites or social media quips. Some will interpret the article to mean they can all go to the beach and hug each other because sunlight kills cv. Some will read the headline and go with it straight to social media. The article is loaded with warnings that few may read but still a small glimmer of hope: "DHS declined to answer questions about the findings and strongly cautioned against drawing any conclusions based on unpublished data. based upon a document that has not yet been peer-reviewed or subjected to the rigorous scientific validation approach. The problem, however, is that without widespread immunity, people can still transmit the coronavirus to others, even in warm weather. Colds and flus don’t disappear in the summer, even if they are less common, Patel noted". Sunlight doesn't destroy virus inside buildings or vehicles, or inside an infected host.
That leaves a lot of vulnerability. Unless maybe we tear all the roofs off all the buildings.
