had their midterm voting choices influenced by the Jan 6 hearings. They didn't say how many of those 17% were already Democrats but likely most of them. The top issues for the midterms not surprisingly were inflation and abortion. And, after the hearings only 10% of repubs think trump should be charged with anything. Only 12% of repubs think Jan 6 was a threat to democracy. The trump cult has not been weakened by the hearings. The only encouraging numbers were that 52% of independents think it was an insurrection and a threat to democracy. I was a little surprised that 44% of repubs said they did watch the hearings, higher than I thought.
