In 5.5 hours, the contracts of an unknown number of Russian soldiers are up. Around 400,000 of the 900,000 Russian soldiers are contract soldiers. The rest are conscripts.
Contract soldiers enlist for a fixed period. Apparently the enlistment period for quite a few expires at 2 PM PDT. Most of them signed up for the money and never expected to be in this kind of combat.
Russia is trying threats and signing bonuses to keep these soldiers.
Will there be a significant number of Russian soldiers leaving in a few hours? Maybe. Something to keep an eye on.
