is members who have visited in the past six months) and of those only 2 or 3 post at least once a month. Threads get 40 or 50 views and almost no one ever says a word or contributes. If not for mhb the site would be dead in a week.
Is it all guests who can't post and won't join who give the 40-50 thread counts?
I enjoy the info we share and would like to see the activity pick up here. The blue board is fine but the near full to half page constant personal bashing by 2 or 3 people is annoying.
Any suggestions?
Do I hear dead silence? lol

I think we need more people and more participation by the folks who do frequent this board.
I wouldn't mind a couple of reasonable conservative voices.
There are some bright and interesting people here. I'd love more discourse.

Ben, start a few threads and see where it goes. I enjoy reading what mh's daily posts. If he stopped, this board should be embalmed. It's too bad that BG can't be coaxed to post here. Does anyone know how to contact him?

Case in point. There have been 55 views of this thread and only 3 comments. It appears nearly all don't care if this board dries up.

There have been 25 registered members who have viewed the board since November 1. Twelve of them have frequently posted.
There are 17 members who have made at least 100 posts. All of them registered the first week we started in April of 2020. Only one person who has made at least 50 posts registered after that.
The sports boards here have gotten as many as 500 views for the mh posts. That's because he links them on the blue sports boards, but not the general board. So someone might want to post on the BZ Open Forum links to the articles here and get more views and possibly more discussion. As moderator I keep careful watch to make sure none of the toxicity infects us here.

Thank you again for creating and maintaining this spot for us. I would just like to see more participation and hoped with my post to create an awareness among "readers" how important their comments and feedback are to all of us. Only 8 members have started threads in the past 90 days and I'd like to think we can do better than that. |
