US Vaccine Data - We Have Now Administered 446 Million Shots (Population 333 Million)
*I have no idea why it went down. It looks like the CDC miscounted some fully vaccinated people as new ones.

"All You Can Eat" Doesn't Mean All HE Can Eat
A Chinese food live-streamer says he has been blacklisted from a grill buffet restaurant for eating too much.
The man, known only as Mr Kang, told Hunan TV that he was banned from the Handadi Seafood BBQ Buffet in Changsha city after a series of binges.
He ate 1.5kg of pork trotters during his first visit and 3.5kg to 4kg of prawns on another visit, he said.
Mr Kang said the restaurant is "discriminatory" against people who can eat a lot.
"I can eat a lot - is that a fault?" he said, adding that he didn't waste any of the food.
But the restaurant owner told the same reporter that Mr Kang was putting him out of pocket.
"Every time he comes here, I lose a few hundred yuan," he said.
"Even when he drinks soy milk, he can drink 20 or 30 bottles. When he eats the pork trotters, he consumes the whole tray of them. And for prawns, usually people use tongs to pick them up, he uses a tray to take them all."
He added that he is banning all live-streamers from the restaurant.

Oops! He Did It Again.
Just minutes after being censured by the US House, Republican congressman Paul Gosar of Arizona retweeted the violent video that depicts him murdering Democratic congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, US media reported.
While Gosar had previously deleted the video, after the House voted to censure him, Gosar retweeted conservative podcaster Elijah Schaffer’s tweet of the video that was captioned: “Really well done. We love @drpaulgosar, don’t we folks?” The retweet appears to have since been undone.
Gosar also retweeted other Republican politicians and public figures, both on his personal and congressional Twitter accounts, that have called Gosar a political “martyr” and denounced his censorship.
The Previous Guy Weighs In
Former President Donald Trump is endorsing Rep. Paul Gosar, one day after the Arizona Republican was censured by the House of Representatives for posting a violent cartoon video that depicted a character with his face killing one with New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s.
Trump, in a statement, hailed Gosar as “a loyal supporter of our America First agenda” and “highly respected in Arizona,” and said he “has my Complete and Total Endorsement!” The statement made no mention of the House’s rare rebuke — just the fourth in nearly 40 years — which also stripped Gosar of his two committee assignments, on the Natural Resources and the Oversight and Reform panels.

Why Investigate Gas Prices? Here's Why.
Break down the per-gallon price of gasoline. According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, the price of crude oil accounts for about 67 percent of the per-gallon gas price. Another 7 percent is based on the price to refine crude. Distribution and marketing account for 11 percent, and the remaining 15 percent comes from taxes. Keep in mind these percentages can change, particularly because each state has a different gas tax.
Divide the day's crude oil price by 42. One barrel of crude contains 42 gallons. This will tell you the dollar amount per gallon of refined gasoline attributed to crude. For example, if crude oil is $100 per barrel, then about $2.38 of the price of a gallon of gas comes from the crude price.
Divide the dollar amount per gallon of refined gas attributed to crude in half. This will give you a dollar amount that accounts for about one-third of the total price per gallon. By multiplying this amount by three, you can get an estimated price per gallon. For example: using $2.38, divide by two to get $1.19. Multiply $1.19 by three to get $3.57, an average cost per gallon of gasoline.
So the formula is price of crude divided by 42, divided by 2 times 3. Going by that gas pricing should be about $2.78 per gallon. Of course this is not a perfect assessment as there are from time to time other market factors to consider. But not apparently, this time. And I for one do not believe the President would make this move capriciously. This is the sort of thing that you do when you already know the answer and just want the suspect to implicate themselves.

I'm a Booster Booster. Here's Why
On Wednesday, Dr. Rochelle Walensky, the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, reported a decline in vaccine effectiveness among the elderly and residents of long-term care facilities, many of whom were the first to be eligible to be vaccinated last winter.
“Although the highest risk are those people who are unvaccinated, we are seeing an increase in emergency department visits among adults 65 and older, which are now again higher than they are for younger age groups,” Walensky said Wednesday at a White House Covid briefing.
Walensky also pointed to new data on long-term care facilities from the agency's National Healthcare Safety Network comparing rates of Covid disease between people who are vaccinated with two doses and those who have received extra doses.
“The rate of disease is markedly lower for those who received their booster shot, demonstrating our boosters are working,” she said.
Fauci and Walensky stressed that the majority of hospitalizations and deaths are still among unvaccinated people in the U.S.

Not Every Vile Person is a Proud Boy. Some Are Pretending to Be
Two Iranians ran a “targeted, coordinated campaign to erode confidence in the integrity of the U.S. electoral system and to sow discord among Americans,” a top Justice Department official said Thursday.
Seyyed Mohammad Hosein Musa Kazemi, 24, and Sajjad Kashian, 27, were charged in an indictment unsealed on Thursday.
The indictment alleges that the hackers got information off of state voter information websites, pretended to be “Proud Boys volunteers” in sending messages to Republican elected officials and members of Donald Trump’s campaign, and intimidated Democratic voters. They also tried to use stolen credentials to get into an American media company’s system.

Elmo will be tickled at this absurd news: An annual conference of the Republican Party’s most extreme members is banning him and his “Sesame Street” from attending in February.
On Thursday, the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) posted two tweets that told Elmo, Big Bird, Bert and Ernie in no uncertain terms that they would not be welcome at next year’s conference.
Seriously ... They tweeted about puppets.
Remarkably, That is Not the Only CPAC-Muppet News
Matt Schlapp, the president of the Conservative Political Action Committee, has drawn criticism from Asian Americans and others across social media this week after he called for “Sesame Street” to be defunded for introducing its first Asian American Muppet.
Schlapp, a conservative lobbyist, tweeted a news story about the coming debut of a Korean American character, Ji-Young. The Muppet has been praised for letting Asian American children see a character like themselves on screen, but Schlapp slammed the host network, PBS, which receives both government and private-sector funding.
“What race is Ernie is Bert?” Schlapp tweeted Monday. “You are insane PBS and we should stop funding you.”
