1. Shaedon Sharpe
2. Amari Bailey
3. Derek Lively
4. Yohan Traore
5. Kyle Filipowski
Note that Rob Cassidy notes that Bailey chose not to play AAU basketball this summer. So, no one honestly knows how good he is at this point (he's been working with a trainer; usually, guys who do that get a lot better than guys who play in an endless series of AAU basketball games where no one plays any defense and you develop a lot of bad habits at both ends of the floor while making it more likely you'll wind up with an injury with all of that repetitive basketball activity).
I don't know if Bailey has been playing at the Drew League (which is taking place at St. John Bosco this summer). I am going to find out and see some games anyway.
It's interesting that UCLA was the first power conference school to offer Filipowski at a time when he was ranked close to 200 and was just a 3-star. I hear a lot of talk from NBA sources that he's expected to be a very high lottery pick after his one year at Duke. He's also very insistent that he play forward and that wasn't going to happen at UCLA. I think both Paolo Banchero and Mark Williams will turn pro after this season, so Duke will be after more bigs.
UCLA, of course, offered Traore and Lively as well. Lively has never shown the slightest interest in UCLA, but Traore, whom Rob describes as a 7-footer, will likely make UCLA one of his final 5 or 6 schools and I think UCLA's best shot at the C spot is him. He's transferred, BTW (who hasn't, besides Bailey?), to Dream City Christian Academy in Glendale, Arizona, from Prolific Prep in Napa. Gonzaga, Oregon, UCLA, USC and ASU have all offered him, along with Kansas and others.
24/7 says he is warm for Texas, but they don't explain why they say this (no Crystal Ball predictions).
As noted below, 24/7 ranks Bailey #1.
ESPN (available only if you subscribe to ESPN+, both 24/7 and Rivals have a lot of free content) also ranks Bailey #1 in the class.
24/7 Crystal Ball now calls UCLA big man recruit Vince Iwuchukwu 100% for Baylor.
No Crystal Ball on Ernest Udeh, Jr., but i missed Stanford as on the list of schools that have offered. UCLA and Stanford are the two West Coast schools that have offered and are on his list, but according to 24/7 he's very cool to everyone. That's likely because this summer was his coming out party and this is all new to him.
