Here's a list of Pac-12 seniors who could return for another year as well as a few guesses at who won't be returning. The two Cal players have announced they are coming back.
There are a lot of reasons kids might leave:
OTOH, some kids may love college and playing college ball.
BTW, even if you have completed all the requirements for your degree, I don't think that means you have to graduate. Alternatively, a lot of schools can find a way to get a kid into a graduate program, even if they don't plan on completing it.
I would guess that most coaches will welcome any player back, since it gives them extra depth and doesn't restrict their ability to bring in new players. Athletic Directors might not be quite so excited.

There are a lot of reasons kids might leave:
- They feel they are ready for pro ball. Even if it is not the NBA, they may want to take a shot at pro ball.
- They may be afraid that injuries could kill their chance at a pro career.
- They don't like school.
- They want to get their degree now
- They want to get on with their lives.
- Staying in school is a financial hardship for them or their family.
- There are new players coming in who will take away their playing time.
- They don't get along with their coach.
- They want to go to a school with a good graduate program.
