Ultraviolet light can kill almost all the viruses in a room. Why isn’t it everywhere?
Anything that cuts income for doctors, hospitals, and big pharma is not going to be implemented.

We do lots of things that cut income for doctors, hospitals and pharma, including food safety laws, car safety law, etc. It people live longer, the will still make their big bucks at the end of life. Around 1/4th of health care costs are in the last year of life.

What I meant was you don't see things coming out of the medical community (like using the ultraviolet) that severely cuts their income. A cure for cancer? You know what that would do to the billions made by the many industries that treat cancer. Same with killing all viruses. Our entire healthcare system is based on profit.

I don't see the industy qyite that cynical. They are constantly enoudcouraging us to eat better, exercise more, drink less alcohol, and take other steps to improve health. They strongly urge getting vaccinated. Healthier patients may be less medical spending over time, but keeping you patient alive longer means having a customer for years more. Aslo, htere are plenty of doctors who genuinely care about the healt of their patients. Hospitals fought COVID wackos and fefused to give the Ivermectim. I agree big pharma has become overly dedicated to increasing profit over just about anything. BTW, I already have a UV unit in my heating /AC system, and it is supposed to kill germs and viruses as the air circulate. No one in our house got the cold or flu much, and we seem to get sick less often. And we old folks don't the a young person's immune system. Maybe it helps.

LOL. How's that going?

Only does them any good if they are treating rather than curing their many maintenance conditions like cancer, asthma, and dozens of other conditions that require ongoing treatment, testing, and medications.
>Aslo, htere are plenty of doctors who genuinely care about the healt of their patients.
I agree there are some but they are very rare. I have a dermatologist, pulmonoloist, cardiologist, osteopath, and a urologist. Only one of them is really interested in anything more than getting me in and out of the exam room.
Yeah, I'm cynical because our healthcare system is 100% geared toward treating not curing and making max profit.
