What are the odds those are big corporate farms?
Some but not 36,000 of them. They're just buying votes.

$1.3 Billion for 36,000 votes seems pretty wasteful. Even if it is more votes, most of them are in solid red states.
When's the last time the US had a farm policy that made sense? I'm guessing, never.

I'm guessing, never. That's true. The farm lobby always gets plenty of welfare for the farm industry just like our welfare payments to big oil, railroads, and others with big lobbying groups. Just more graft in our corrupt political system.
