mh and I are watching the 2021 Pangos FR-SO Showcase on Baller TV and I'm getting a chance to see some guys I got limited views of live.
Two are brothers of Bruins:
Braydan Kyman, 6-7 2026 (8th Grade!) Aliso Viejo The Togetherness (yes, that's the name of the school). I didn't realize he was this young. Watching him play more, he'll likely be better than Jake Kyman, maybe by a lot. Stronger, bigger, more athletic, excellent 3, but a good handle and some legit scoring moves around the basket and good passer.
Kevin Anigbogu, 6-9 2024 Corona Centennial: He's a D 1 prospect, but way too early to see what level. But at 230-235, he's showing decent post moves (more than Ike ever did) and he has good hands and pretty good fundamentals. Not an explosive athlete, but he's got 3 years to shape his body and refine his skills.

Two more guys we saw that impressed me.
First was Dutch DowDell, who's around 6-4 and is a remarkable shooter. He's Class of 2024 and he is going to school at the top HS in Utah. According to MaxPreps, he shot 39% from the arc in his first year of varsity ball. I expect that will go up.
There was also a kid name Stoker (I can't remember his first name) who was a 5-9 PG who was terrific. He showed off great quickness and a variety of really nice shots. Right now there is no information on him on the web, but if he grows a couple of inches, he could become a real prospect.
BTW, less keeps telling me that with all the attention on Kylan Boswell, people are missing out on his former teammate who is still at Corona Centennial, Jared McCain. He thinks McCain is the better all-around player.

Jazz Shoker, 5-9 2024 Eastvale Roosevelt.
DowDell is at Olympus High School in Salt Lake City. He was 8-10 from 3 in the game we saw.
Shoker was 5-7 and Kyman 3-5.
I went back and counted: That team made 24-34 from 3... and someone got an assist on 20 of them.
Not a typical AAU camp game...

(I guess some of this depends on whether Shoker gets taller.) BTW, I remember Shoker making several nice mid-range shots as well.

Kyman and DowDell for sure.
Yeah, Stoker probably needs a couple of inches to play at a low to mid D 1 level though it's not as if we haven't seen highly-skilled 5-9 guys playing D 1 before. The lack of size is more impactful in his case because right now he's not a high level athlete.
